The summer seems to be flying by. In July, we went back to California to visit relatives. It was a nice trip. Abby got to spend some time with her cousins and Grandma and her Uncle who also was visiting from Japan. We used to live in California - so, it was nice to see a lot of the old places and our old house. Abby did not remember much. We moved when she was only 4 years old. We did the traditional tourist stuff since she did not remember. We had fun riding the cable car and visiting fishermans wharf. Abbys favorite part was driving up and down the hills of San Francisco. I dont particularly like it, never did. I suspect she would like a roller coaster but I am certain I will not be the one going on it with her. We also went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Abby really liked it. I think she took something like 200 photos that day. Since then, we have been trying to plan for our new adventure and figure out what we plan to pack. The trick will be getting it into the bags. Abby has been doing camp the reminder of the summer until we head to NYC for rehearsals. She needs to keep herself busy and I need to work. She is finishing up her final 4 shows with Kaleidoscope Theater. All and all it has been a nice summer!
