Abby's Annie Blog
A Blog of Abby's Experience
Reminder of September to Early October

Ok, I guess I got a little over zealous thinking I would be able to write a blog for each city. Many days now I actually forget the city I was in the day before. The tour goes on a very very tight schedule. We are either on the bus or moving luggage in and out of hotels or trying to find food for the girls. The food sometimes becomes a challenge. You try not to always do fast food but you are really at the mercy of what is around the hotel, which sometimes is not much and other times pretty good. It is really hit or miss. I pretty much travel with some microwave Macaroni and Cheese and some cereal boxes as well in case I do not find anything. The shows are getting better and better each night. Last week the girls had a day off! That is, no school, no traveling. A show in the evening but basically they have the day to themselves. It was great! They had not had one of these since Labor Day. They basically swam in the hotel pool a lot and Abby played some video games in the arcade. The night before we took them to the bowling alley. They had a great time. The bowling was with the large balls. In New England they have duckpin bowling, which is with the small balls. This was new for Abby so she needed to figure out how to maneuver the big balls.

The weather has just been wonderful. We are still in tank tops and shorts. I am sure it will change soon. I hope so; I kind of miss those brisk autumn days. The girls get another day off this week which should be great. Not sure what they are going to do but it is sometimes better to wait and see what the hotel has or is near.

Abby is counting the days for when her dad comes to visit. She has it down to exactly 2 weeks. He will be with us for an entire week in Cincinnati. The director, Martin Charnin is coming too, so there are some additional rehearsals scheduled during the week. But that is OK; Abby will have plenty of time to see her dad.
